Objectives:

  • ​Increase Philip's revenue streams through career opportunities

  • Enhance Philip's reputaiton in the modeling, acting and fitness industries

 

Strategy:

  • Garner extensive local and national media exposure

  • Build Philip's social media fan base

  • Establish Philip as the "top" underwear and fitness model in the industry

 

Tactics: 

  • Identify target audiences and media outlets focused on these groups

  • Pitch Pihlip's inspiring personal story to these outlets

  • Create relevant, fresh social media posts, contests, etc. to garner new fans

  • Revamp PhilCity.com and utilize his website to brand Philip and sell merchandise

  • Engage with Philip's social media community to build relationships with his fans

  • Establish relationships with other YouTubers, bloggers, fan sites, etc for cross-promotion

 

Results (as of 11/31/13)

  • After three weeks Philip received more than 86,000 new Facebook fans-- 41K to 127K. (Three-week social media report below)

  • After two months Philip gained more than 139,000 new Facebook fans (without spending a single dollar on adverising or promoted posts)

  • ​Substanial online, broadcast and print exposure includes coverage in: Women's Health & Fitness, the Bethenny show, The Underwear Expert, DNA Magazine, Informant Daily, UNITE Business, etc.

  • Philip booked photo shoots, DJ gigs, interviews and appearances throughout the nation

  • ​PhilCity apparel sales up 200% from last year
